Naples

Today was the last day of the first cruise. We are staying on for the transatlantic. I could definitely do this itinerary again. Everything went by so quickly and a port was made or broke by the quality of the guide. In some ports I want a 'do over'.

For Naples I had scheduled a ship's tour to the Archeological museum. This museum had wonderful displays of the sculptures and mosaics along with some limited hard goods like vases from Pompeii and Herculaneum. It also had wonderful sculptures from one of the original seven wonders of the world, a bath in Rome.

It was wonderful to see all the sculptures with their heads and fingers attached.
